Beautiful park. A good place to hit for a jog. It benefits from the addition of Cartwright Hall. Fountain and the lake could use frequent cleaning.
This is a veritable gem of Bradford. The park is large and lush, housing a botanical gardens with a stream running through it. There's a mid-sized duck pond and outdoor kids play area. At the heart of the park is Cartwright Hall with art exhibitions of Hockney and some gorgeous Yorkshire landscapes. It's both historical and modern. A great place for a family visit or a romantic stroll. Best seen in the spring and summer. Quiet, tranquil, serene.
Very nice park for people to walk around. I personally walk around it very often and o have to say that it's great fun. There's a lot to see and you can go on boar rides with your family. The downside it that it can be a bit busy with people.
Great park it's quite good for kids & Adults there's swings slides etc for kids & its got a lake which has peddle boats at summer there's loads of ducks,swans,then there's the museum & bowling green, tennis courts,there's a waterfall as well i recommend this place specially at spring/summer time.
Was in traffic next it, however the park is lovely once you get away from the traffic noise. Work has been done to improve it lately. It's very good for jogging or running around
