A nice afternoon out for a family. Covers textiles printing and even some toys, many aspects of industry. There is a selection of vintage vehicles and lots of information about history. There is also a fun game for the children and adults, throughout the museum stuffed rats have been hidden and you have to find them all. We had great fun competing to find them and not telling each other where they were!! Best of all free entry

A truly delightful place to visit with friendly informative staff. The buildings and displays were preserved excellently and I would highly recommend a visit if you have a few hours to spare.

This the first review Ive ever left for anything, and I guess it will have to be something very special like this museum before I write another. Very informative, lots of working pieces. So interesting. Dont miss it. All the staff were so helpful and interesting as well. Really hope to go back one day.

Visited many times with my son when he was in a pushchair - he loved looking at the cars, trains, trams, horse carts and finding the sheep/rats. Liked playing with the dolls house and if the machinery was running then he was 'in his element'.I like walking around as there is so much to see.The staff on the front desk were always lovely (happy for me to leave the pushchair with them) and there's a great little gift shop - plenty of things for kids that cost pence, not pounds! No cafe, but there is a vending machine.2 things disappoint me with this place. 1 - Moorside House is barely ever open (it is absolutely great to see this home - might be highlight of the museum). 2 - it never gets busy, which is a crime! There is ample parking and it's free. Something for everyone - my little boy (visited regularly between ages of 1-4) loves it when we go, i (in my 30's) love it, as does my dad (60's). Easily pass 1-3 hours here (depending on how quick you like to get around).Cannot recommend this place enough.

My husband and I are Americans temporarily living in the UK. Recently, while my husband was working, I traveled to the Bradford Industrial Museum. This visit was a most interesting visit for me since some of my ancestors lived near and worked in the Bradford textile industry during the Industial Revolution. The museum is quite nice! (In fact, I knew my husband would also enjoy a visit so we both visited a few days later.) During my initial visit, I absolutely enjoyed my time chatting with the skilled Blacksmith. Though it was late in the day and near closing time before I reached his area, he took the time to demonstrate his skill by making me a nail with my initials on the nail head. He even went out of his way to be hospitable and made me a delicious cup of tea!
