Lovely cosy hotel...great staff & food
Just got off the phone to my mother who is currently spending Xmas at this hotel, booked through Leisuretime travel.She is really unhappy with her choice this year. Even though the hotel is clean and tidy, the food and entertainment is a real let-down, especially as this is a Xmas booking, she was expecting alot better.Today (Xmas day) the hotel guests were not permitted into the main hall, due to them having a private function booked in, instead they were put into a side room. Buffet was served for tea, consisting of sandwiches, sausage rolls and quiche. My mother had to ask for water because no refreshments were being served, another lady was refused tea/coffee.Entertainment was 2 games of bingo, and a CD put on, staff called that a disco.Their Xmas gift was a 1 selection pack, shocking!!!!Most guests have spent hours in their rooms watching TV today because this place has no idea how to entertain guests who have paid hundreds of pounds to spend Xmas at this hotel. Why bother operating a service at all, if all you can provide is an extremely poor one.
Here's to the next 40 years. Lovely place, warm & welcoming with the most fabulous staff. Well done Dubrovnik.
Excellent service and food. Very friendly staff who go out there way to accommodate. Beds too firm and lumpy, but overall a really nice place to stay
Stayed at Hotel 1st Sept 2018 for my Nieces Wedding , fantastic wedding venue, room looked amazing, food fantastic could not fault any part of the day or evening, staff very friendly, and professional. We watched a member of staff running around and organizing the days events , and making sure everything was perfect for the Bride and Groom and all there guests, only to discover it was acutely the owner of the Hotel. Wow how fantastic, Would Highly recommend staying at this Hotel. Also would highly recommend for a special event. Thank you all at Dubrovnik Hotel. Kind Regards Mr & Mrs Farnell
