Don't know that much about this place but it can be really good if you need help like divorce
Very helpful
This is a solicitors so having not having need of one I cannot comment on its service. But with all Solicitors they are governed by the Law Society, so if you think they are not giving you the best service you can complain. Another point is that ask for a written estimate for what they are about to do for you. Question anything that goes over this estimate. Oh and as a side point, if you make an appointment with a Solicitor make sure you are not fobbed of with a clerk. It's your money after all.
Dreadful,i have so far waited 3 months and had no progress whatsover made, there has been no legal action begun. The only thing they did do quickly was get their legal aid funding sorted out.Until I complained nothing was being done on my case. Now admittidly the situation is improving but it ahouldnt need so much effort and delay and distress .Furthermore and most importantly if you are a victim of domestic violence do not trust this firm. They advised me to take out a court non molestation order ,As a prelude to a divorce. Not only was the order missing clauses which where commonly included and essential ,but the ommissions were agreed without my knowledge or consent. My location had been secret until then as I had been moved for my safety and gone to a great deal of teouble to stay hidden but now my husband had a rough location due to the court location. Prior to that he had a search radius of several hundred miles. The main concern was that they placed me in danger and did nothing to help .My husbabd turned up at their Leeds offices before court ,and sat outside for sometime, despite an emergency order being in place ,this was not mentioned in court and my solicitor did not contest any statement of my husbands ,She had told me he agreed to a three year order before the hearing, I warned her against taking his word on anything but she ignored me I was by now in tears ,no special measures had been requested so I had walk across the same waiting room as him and wait until he was moved .When I was crying and in distress over atatements in his statement to court ,she told me to lower my voice ,I wasnt shouting but I was crying loudly, this was still in the public waiting room.On the wat into court my husband was brought back and walked bwhind me to the chambers ,even though by noe court security where accompanying him ,having him behind me was very distressing abd I kept glancing behind ,My solictor told me to stop doing it .In the hearing being sat so close was so distressing I was in tears and very afraid .After the hearing at which I had turned up accompanied by my solicitor from their Leeds office .,My husband waited outside court. My solictor was concerned enough to get court security to escort us to her offices ,but once there despite my very clear distress ,she left me in reception and hurried back to work saying ^its not our responsibilty to get you home safely^While that may be the case ,I was afraid and in tears ,I dont think offering to phone a taxi or contact police would have been too much to expect especially as my husband had committed seriouse crimes and made recent death threats.Since then (Sept )my divorce proceedings have made no progress ,I finally got an interview in December ,but now in March they have not evem bothered to get a copy of my marriage certificate ,Theres been no legal actions taken.I was given a time frame of March ,April for the divorce to be completed. Now nothings been done except that my husband has narrowed his search to my area .In addition is is much more annoyed and I am in more dangerThe need to move is now very urgent and reliant on their finishing the divorce asap. but this has been ignored .They should be fully aware that once proceedings begin the likilhood of escalating violence increases and murders usually occure when women try to leave or serve divorce papers,it therefore means any delays completing the divorce extends the time women are in danger ,yet in locations which can be marrowed down by the location of a court used. Its utterly disgusting to ignore this and claim that ^workloads^ will cause delays ,if they are going to miss dates ,or give unrealistic completion dates they shpuldnt take cases whete clients will be at risk.Emails go unanswered, or fully read as this has resulted in delays of almost two months.
There pull out game is strong, they pull out of court at last minute without telling the client, make you loose what you went to fight for, would never recommend and they don't deserve to have a badge to represent anybody! Useless!
