We hired a car to pick up at the airport in Tenerife. We had to wait on a queue for over an hour (first at the airport terminal and later at their office in the car park) and when we finally got to the desk they insisted we paid a extra charge (in excess of 100) for insurance, despite the fact that we told them that we had our own one, threatening us with the consequences of not being covered in case of accident. None of this was explained when we hired the car through internet. They promised cheap prices but given the service provided it was very experience.Would not use their services again.
Not even worth 1 star. Even though my son in law had paid and booked for a car weeks before, there were none available at Barcelona airport.at 8.00 p,m. Waited 3 hours while they tried to source one and in the end had to pay another company to get a car. Still have not got money back from Inter Car 10 weeks later.
I am sat on the floor ( no chairs) in Barcelona airport. Been waiting TWO hours for rental car. Absolute nightmare. You would be much better paying that bit more for good service. This is appalling.
