I was a student here for three years and would recommend it if you are south Asian, but not if you are White or black, as institutional favouritism is apparent from the faculty Dean and module lecturers. Often help is given to south Asian students unlike White and black counterparts. The essays never change and the ability to ask your friend that went the previous year and use their work and cheat, is the norm. In the exams, dont worry about talking and cheating the invigilators turn a blind eye and let you get on with it. Dont bother asking the admin staff in the undergraduate office or whatever it is called this week anything, as on 99.9% of occasions dont know anything about anything and often ask you to email them with always no response. I am unsure the pre-requisites for the role to work in the undergraduate office but I am sure, clueless, rude, uneducated, and unorganised are defiantly apart of the training and or standards set by the University to work there. The University does cater for everyone when it comes to societys, however the dominant focus of all events primarily is around Islam and Islamaphobia. The prayer room is for all faiths and none, to relax and pray but non-Muslims are often intimidated and leave and do not enter again (witnessed by myself personally) as a Muslim woman and English person I do find this attitude by my fellow sisters disgusting! I would recommend the University of Bradford to South Asian students only, as you will be supported by the lecturers, and Dean and attain a good degree, most likely a first or high 2:1 without any effort required. To the White and black counterparts, I would suggest the University of Leeds/ Beckett or Trinity where more diversity and opportunity is available for you to attain the best degree you can.
I worked here some of the cleaning staff are useless the Cleaning Team Leader want's to retire he has a very bad attitude towards other staff members he was always on my case saying I never cleaned a certain thing when I did he is in a click with a few of the cleaning staff he lets staff go home early when there not supposed to as it states on one of the cleaners face book page also when I worked at main campus I got promised a full time porters Job they went back on there word they stated I needed a full driving licence to be a porter and then set a cleaner on to be a porter who did not have a driving licence.
A great faculty that provides all the tools for the success for each and every student. The campus has beautiful facilities and it's well located.
