What a shambles. The carrier Yodal say they tried delivering 4 times!!! I was waiting in on each occasion No card was left. I appreciate this is not the fault of home discount however tryung to get through to them is a joke. NEVER AGAIN. I have now cancelled my order.
STAY WELL AWAY two dressing tables bought for my daughter's !! .Absolutely disgusting customer service.They just dont care and are more than aware goods are substandard as i found out from speaking with Michelle.Dressing tables Not one but two were of awful poor quality,smashed,scrapped,paint finish terrible and broken on arrival.I was asked to take photos and told parts needed would be sent express delivery with 20% compensation but on seeing how damaged the dressing tables they decided to refund and not bother to collect two damaged dressing tables as promised and confirmed in emails!Michelle a senior member of sales staff stated she couldn't confirm replacement goods would be of good or usable quality on arrival the drawers of dressing tables are not finished on the inside and apparently that's standard!.I have lots of photos should anyone like to see the quality of these products!
For what it does it's a gem of a place. Cheap but good quality furniture. All on display to be inspected. You can take the flat pack box to your car there and then. Staff have always been attentive and friendly. I bought and built a chest of drawers for my son and was quite pleased with the whole process.
Incorrect bed sent. Not willing to exchange. Poor customer service. Trading standards and ebay informed.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Item not delivered. Past from pillar to post to resolve an issue. Dragged their feet in resolving. More interested in emailing that picking up the phone. They have no empathy, sense of urgency. Situation: My +70 year old mum is disabled and currently in a wheel chair due to a broken leg. She is showering outside in a gazebo. The one we were using got buckled in the winds last weekend, hence the order of a new one). She cannot get upstairs to use the shower there so my dad and I put together this outside one for her. The gazebo provides some dignity for her.Order: Gazebo 3m x 3mProblem: Not delivered. Apparently an issue with YodelResolve from them: investigation. No empathy. No sending out another, nothing.Problem 2: My mum cannot shower until we have a gazebo for herMy Resolve: Can't wait for Home Delivery minimum (it would seem) 2 days to investigate, so have ordered another one through Amazon Prime. More expensive and still have to wait for it to be delivered. Phoned police and local paper about the issue. Why this investigation takes so long is beyond me. Everything is digital from the order to the signature (which they haven't shown me yet, despite requests). They have no compassion for the situation. Problem 3: Now I'm out of pocket, I had to buy a more expensive gazebo and I have nothing to show from Home Discount Ltd.Advice: Avoid using this company. Pay a little more maybe, but get a better service.
